I am one of four children being raised with three older brothers. I grew up on a family farm outside of Maeystown. I am lucky and blessed to have married my high school sweetheart Michael Mudd. We have three sons - Jacob, Collin, and Wesley. We currently reside in Waterloo, but recently purchased a home in the country! I am a graduate of Valmeyer High School and I attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville completing my Master’s degree in 2007.
I have had extensive experience within the field of speech/language pathology in a variety of settings including the Head Start Program in Cahokia and East St. Louis, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville working within many departments of pediatrics, NICU, rehab floor, outpatient, and intensive care units, as well as experience with Early Intervention providing speech therapy services within homes. After experiences in all of these settings, I chose to take the opportunity to work at Waterloo Community Unit School District.
I love the opportunity to work as a speech language pathologist. It is a true passion to work with children and seeing all the progress we make together! I look forward to learning all about your child and working together as a team to meet their goals!
